CaSSOA, the Caravan Storage Site Owners Association, is the best place to start in our opinion. They have over 400 storage sites across the UK and all are given either the Bronze, Silver or Gold accreditation based on the security features they each have.
- The Bronze accreditation sites must meet CaSSOA’s minimum security requirements which include perimeter protection and lockable gates.
- The Silver accreditation sites have a step up in security, as well as having the standard Bronze security measures in place, a silver accredited site has enhanced security in place such as CCTV and monitored entry and exit of the site.
- The Gold accreditation is the highest award which can be achieved, with these sites providing the highest levels of security. Over 50% of CaSSOA’s current members have obtained a Gold accreditation.
