Eurocruiser Warranty

Caravan and Fifth Wheel Warranty

All illustrations and descriptions in this handbook are intended to provide a general overview of the caravan. Due to market and supply changes, as well as our policy of continuous product development, we reserve the right to alter specifications without notice.

Warranty Overview

Unless a separate warranty has been purchased, your caravan comes with a Return to Base Warranty. Full details are provided below.

Body Shell Warranty

  • Eurocruiser will repair or replace (at its option) any defects in the body shell for 6 years from the purchase or hire purchase date.
  • Subject to the conditions, terms, and exclusions listed below.

Extended Body Shell Warranty (First Owner Only)

  • Eurocruiser will repair or replace (at its option) any defects in the body shell for 10 years from the purchase or hire purchase date.
  • This warranty applies only to the original registered owner and is non-transferable.

Warranty Conditions

  • An Annual Service must be carried out:
    • Within 90 days before or 60 days after each anniversary of the original purchase date.
    • Proof (original VAT invoices) must be retained.
  • Body Shell Warranty: The 6th Annual Service must be completed before the end of 72 months.
  • Extended Body Shell Warranty: The 10th Annual Service must be completed before the end of 120 months.
  • The Annual Service must meet the handbook requirements.
  • You are responsible for all service costs.
  • Only work completed by an authorised Eurocruiser Service Centre will be covered.

Registration & Ownership

  • New caravans must be registered within 6 weeks of purchase.
  • Standard Warranty and Body Shell Warranty are transferable if:
    • The caravan has been serviced as required.
    • A change of ownership form is submitted within 14 days.
  • Extended Body Shell Warranty is non-transferable.

Repair Requirements

  • Repairs must be carried out at an authorised Eurocruiser Service Centre.
  • Repairs must be completed within 6 weeks of identification.
  • Transport/towing costs are the owner’s responsibility.
  • Warranty applies only to caravans purchased and used primarily in the UK.

Warranty Terms

The Body Shell and Extended Body Shell Warranties cover:

  • Panel and seam defects
  • Body leaks
  • Delamination of panels or floor
  • Water ingress through permanently sealed seam joints

Exclusions

Eurocruiser is not liable for defects resulting from:

  • Fair wear and tear
  • Freezing, fire, overheating, or accidents
  • Misuse or lack of maintenance
  • Corrosion, foreign bodies, or negligence not attributable to Eurocruiser
  • Components at the end of their life
  • Cosmetic finishes (e.g., sinks, cookers, vanity units, shower trays)
  • Abrasive cleaners or condensation
  • Routine service items (brake shoes, AKS pads, gas hose, etc.)
  • Alloy wheels after 12 months (excludes tyres/valves)
  • Wall and roof GRP sheeting after 12 months
  • Full-time living or commercial use, even if disclosed at purchase

Warranty Limitations

Warranty is void if:

  • The caravan has been neglected, misused, modified, or used for hire/reward.
  • Chassis/VIN numbers have been removed or defaced.
  • Required servicing or repairs have not been carried out in a reasonable time.

Legal Rights

These warranties do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
